Internships for Economics Majors
Economics students complete internships at a variety of companies and organizations both within the U.S. and internationally. These experiences are both paid and unpaid, and secured through several venues (I-Link, Career Fairs, Networking, Connections, Career Center, Info Sessions, etc.).
Internship and professional work experience are extremely important for students to understand different industries and how companies and organizations function. Internships are difficult to secure after your Freshman, and sometimes Sophomore year, as you are still building your academic knowledge and experience on campus, but we encourage you to look for opportunities, be creative, and gain as much experience as you are able before graduation.
